For a while, I’ve been dreaming of a way to combine my love for painting with a deeper purpose. Salt is my new regular series where I create an original oil painting, and 100% of the profits from the sold original will go toward charities fighting food insecurity worldwide. 🌍🍞💛

But also, for my entire life, I’ve been one of the fortunate ones who has never experienced food insecurity. I paint food because I am privileged enough to play with it, enjoy it in abundance, and sample flavors and ingredients with ease. It fosters connection. I recognize this is a gift, and I hope I can show others the power of rooting their creative gifts in a WHY.

Mental health is the foundation of my brand, my highest calling, but so much of mental health, education, access, and resources stem from food or the lack of - and I want to give some of that back through the currency of time, something food grants us each day.

I’m challenging myself to create one painting regularly—a rhythm of creativity, generosity, and impact. Each original piece will also be available as prints, so if you’d love to support this mission and support me as an artist, purchasing a print is a beautiful way to do both. 💖
